As for what tips or approaches can Brother Walker would share with other advisors in mentoring a chapter to being this suc- cessful, he shared "To have an achieving undergraduate chap- ter starts with having quality undergraduates who are willing to listen and execute. Another component for being a success- ful chapter, is for the chapter advisor to realize that he must engage other alumni brothers who are passionate about the success and well-being of our undergraduates. Finally, it takes prayer for the guidance, protection, and the success of the chapter."

I n late February 2021, members of Gamma Sigma conducted a planning session with Brother Byron Lattimore, St. Jude Chairman, for the mighty Southwestern Province. The goal of the session was to develop a strategy to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The

result of the session was phenomenal. Gamma Sigma raised more money than any other chapter, both Alumni and Undergraduate, in Kappa Alpha Psi through the end of March 2021. As of May 2021, Gamma Sigma has raised more funds than any other undergradu- ate chapter and is third overall.

Here's to the Gamma Sigma of Kappa Alpha Psi!

21 of 26 Members of Gamma Sigma Chapter maintained at least a 3.0 grade point aver- age this year.

Gamma Sigma features Leon Jones III as the 2021-2022 Student Body President of the University of Arkansas- Pine Bluff. He secured the presidency by 53.7% of the vote.
