T he Southwestern Education and Lead- ership Training Foundation Scholar- ship (S.E.L.T.F.) was created to promote and encourage the completion of higher educational pursuits by rewarding the most outstanding student-scholars through their participation in academic and scholarly pro- grams at their respective institutions. Academic achievements, as well as school involvement, community service, volunteer activities and demonstrated leadership are evaluated to identify those individuals whose character and academic performance exemplify these qualifications. An equitable approach is em- ployed in reviewing each application to provide maximum opportunity to all students who apply to receive the award, regardless of race or national origin. In maintaining the highest standards in the selection process, the Foun- dation aims to reward rising brothers whose dedication and academic achievements are reflective of those qualities necessary to suc- ceed and complete the matriculation through a degree program at an accredited college or university. S.E.L.T.F. President Attorney Willie High Coleman, Jr, Esq. and the Executive Board of Directors, it is our pleasure to announce the 2021 Southwestern Education Leadership and Training Foundation Scholarship awardees. The competition was intense and each of the awardees are commended for their academic achievements, extra-curricular activities, and determination. Each that applied proved their dedication and academic achievements which was reflective in their application display- ing those qualities necessary to succeed and complete their matriculation through a gradu- ate degree or professional program. We are certainly proud of these brothers and wish them nothing but success with their educa- tional plans now and in the future. Let us all
