away an Amazon Echo Dot, Samsung Galaxy Tablet and a Dell Laptop. The presenters were Kevin Graves (Mu Iota 1991), Christopher Young, Esq. (Raleigh (NC) AL 2011), Allan Bell (Lambda Eta 1992) and brothers from the Alpha Nu Chapter. In addition to food a different approach was taken by two of our chap- ters in the Wake County area. Brothers participated in “Warmth for Wake” a seasonal energy outreach program that is sponsored by Wake County Human Services. The pandemic has presented many challenges to our everyday life and how we conduct the business of Kappa. We have adjusted well to virtual meetings as we successfully held our Officer’s Training Workshop, C. Rodger Wilson, and Province Council meetings. Also, an adjustment had to be made with recognitions. Chapters held drive by’s and visited brothers outside of their home to celebrate various milestones. Rocky Mount (NC) Chapter celebrated with William “Bill” Jones (Alpha Nu 1970),Keeper of Exchequer Emeritus! The Fayetteville Fort Bragg (NC) Alumni Chapter celebrated Marvin Rouse (Delta Gamma 1970) and Wilton Cross (Beta Rho 1970) for 50 Years in the Bond. In addition, they celebrated Douglas McMillan (Alpha Nu 1961) for 59.5 years in the bond. The Raleigh

(NC) Alumni Chapter presented white Kappa blazer to Wanzo Hendrix (Raleigh (NC) AL 1970). The Smithfield (NC) Alumni Chapter visited older members and their silhouettes poinsettias during the pandemic. The Cary (NC) Alumni Chapter part- nered with a local Walmart to provide local families a Christmas Shopping spree. The chapters in the Raleigh-Dur- ham area hosted a virtual Founders’ Day experience where four different Nupe DJs each played an hour set. Dona- tions benefited the St. Jude Children's Hospital. In addition, many brothers of the Middle Eastern Province celebrated with the rest of the fraternity during the J5 Kappathon. Chapters gave back to the community through clothing drives for the less fortunate to help keep them warm during these tough times. Brothers in this province had unique approaches during the pandemic as well. The Wake Forest Rolesville (NC) Alumni Chapter volunteered at a COVID-19 testing center by assisting with traffic flow. Throughout the province was an up- swing in group bicycle rides for physical and mental care. The Raleigh (NC) Alumni Chapter and the Kappa Charitable Trust held a Black Santa event for the community. Over 120 kids were provided wrapped

gifts. Brothers even went as far as giving outside of our area for hurricane relief. Louisiana natives Jeffery Moore (Alpha Sigma 1984) and Stephon Walton (Cary (NC) AL 1991) that are part of the Cary (NC) Alumni Chapter led an effort to provide a Christmas to families who were struggling in Southwest Louisiana. The Fayetteville Fort Bragg (NC) Alumni Chapter hosted their Kappa Leaguers, Epsilon Beta Chapter (Fayetteville State University) and Rho Zeta Chapter (Methodist University) chapters for a drug/alcohol awareness webinar. This webinar was held in light of recent events that have occurred on college campuses in NC. Some chap- ters held virtual discussions to discuss mental health and current events. Many brothers encouraged and offered their ears to address mental health effects of the pandemic. Even through these chal- lenges we are making sure traditions are not lost. Led by Sam Coley (Alpha Kappa 1989) chapters are taking turns producing videos of them singing Kappa songs. As we move forward in the next chapter of this pandemic we can look back on what has been displayed as a true testament of our brotherhood.
