T he Annapolis (MD) Alumni Chapter Guide Right/Kappa League Committee held its regular meetings in virtual format. The Committee reinforced the meaning of Brotherhood and why it's essential to build good brotherly relationships. Specifically, the Com- mittee engaged members about how everyone can galvanize support dur- ing a time of need, how that support can inspire others to become empa- thetic and aware. This is a concept championed by the 34 th Administra- tion: Brother to Brother, Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges. The virtual format lent itself to focusing on various types of Brother- hood through the pandemic. Brother Marc Watson led these sessions. Annapolis (MD) Alumni Distributes Goods During Multiple Food Drives
O n Saturday, November 21, 2020, the Brothers of the Annapolis (MD) Alumni Chapter gathered at the Hillsmere Elementary School in Annapolis, MD, to assist Assistant Principal Jason Williams, son of a Chap- ter Member, with the school’s annual Thanksgiving Food Basket distribution. The Chapter has also partnered with other schools in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic with food dis- tribution efforts including at the Samuel P. Massie, Jr. Academy on November 20, 2020. Our Guide Right/Kappa League Committee partners with The Academy on this and several other events through- out our fraternal year. The Academy that bears the name of 25 th Laurel Wreath Laureate Dr. Samuel P. Massie, an active member of the chapter prior to entering Chapter Invisible.
