Here at UK POS we strive to continually evaluate our environmental impact and performances. Together with our employees, customers, suppliers and associates, we aim to implement eco-friendly solutions that protect the world we live in.
Our people All of our departments have ISO 9001 certified quality management systems in place, so we know that our people, facilities and services are the best they can be. We are now actively working towards being ISO 14001 certified, for our environmental management systems. Materials and processes We are constantly aiming to maximise efficiencies in all areas of the business and we are proud of achieving over 97% for manufacturing efficiency. We always maximise the use of our materials and keep waste to an absolute minimum during our manufacturing process.
The UK POS buildings Our warehouse and production heating systems are the most energy efficient in the market. Both our air-conditioning and lighting systems are Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) compliant, because we want to support the Government’s scheme to manage climate change. Suppliers and partners We have a rigorous supplier selection process and always audit the ethical record of potential suppliers before entering into any agreement. UK POS interacts with suppliers to improve processes and ensures they monitor waste output, energy usage and technology.
