Breaks Depending on the duration of your shift, you’re entitled to 15-minute rest periods and 30-minutemeal periods but check with your supervisor about how it works in your department. We encourage staff to get away from your desks and make use of break rooms. Coffee (along with all the accompaniments – sugar, milk and cream) are provided free to all staff. And we provide fridges, microwaves, dishwashers, plates, mugs and cutlery for everyone to use but feel free to bring your own too.
