BC Housing offers a Flexible Benefits Program to all eligible employees. Far from one-size-fits-all, Flex Benefits enable every employee to choose the coverage options that work best for you and your family. The program allows our employees to change their options every two years or whenever they experience a major life event such as marriage or the birth or adoption of a child. BC Housing pays 100% of the health premiums for our employees and provides them with the flexibility to adjust their coverage levels for extended health, dental, long-term disability and life insurance. The plan includes routine dental; restorative dental; orthodontics; vision care; traditional medicine coverage; alternative medicine coverage; massage therapy; acupuncture; medical equipment and supplies; and travel insurance. Employees may also receive a Health Spending Account which can be used towards additional extended health and dental costs.
Short-term employees receive a premium in lieu of benefits.
