What We Do
BC Housing was created in 1967 with 12 employees to provide housing for low-income individuals and families. Over the past 5 decades, the scope of our work has expanded exponentially to not only provide housing but also the supports to ensure British Columbians have access to safe, affordable and quality housing. Each year, we assist over 110,000 households across the province through direct management at one of our housing sites, through collaboration with our 800 housing partners, or through rent
