Livegreen
A great example of how employees shape the direction of an organization: the passion of our people for promoting activities for a healthier, cleaner environment led to the creation of our livegreen Employee Council. This employee-led council sets a strategic plan each year and leads our people from “awareness to advocacy”, helping us all make more sustainable choices that positively impact our work, homes and communities. Check out the Council’s campaigns such as the Paper- less Challenge and the Waste Reduction Campaign (watch out for the Green Binster!). Take part in their lunch and learns on topics like making more sustainable food choices and reducing the use of plastics. And participate in BC Housing’s green initiatives like subsidized transit passes, preferred parking for carpoolers, and hybrid and smart car sign-out for work-related trips.
