recorded. To enable calculation, a minimum of ten single interval volumes (GLFn) must be recorded and entered. 3. Weight or Vol input: Select whether the incremental readings (GLFn) are to be entered in either weight or volume. This will be dictated by how the interval volumes (GLFn) have been recorded. 4. TOV (VEF applied): Either the vessel figure after loading (load operations) or the vessel figure prior to discharge (discharge operations) total observed volume (TOV) with VEF applied. In scenarios where an automatic sampling system is used to sample a pipeline transfer, this figure will be the delivering shore tank TOV figure. The additional data fields then need to be populated with the information corresponding to each GLFn. This requires the date, time, total grabs, sample weight or sample volume, and the corresponding automatic sampling system recorded transferred volume at the time when the GLFn was recorded. In instances where the automatic sampling system does not have the capability to display the transferred volumes or if the transferred volumes have not been recorded, the vessel’s pumping log can be used to determine the transferred volumes. The SGS report provides data fields to assist with these calculations.
