Roof Correction = 550581 Litres
This floating roof correction, which will always be negative, must then be subtracted from the Gross Observed Volume (GOV) of the liquid stored in the tank, prior to correcting to a Gross Standard Volume (GSV). Additionally, see below notes regarding the application of both a Floating Roof Adjustment (FRA) and Floating Roof Correction (FRC): • No floating roof correction will be accurate if the liquid level falls inside the floating roof’s critical zone regardless of table style. While results can be displayed, they should not be used for custody transfer. • If a significant amount of water, ice, or snow is present on an external floating roof, it should be either removed or its weight estimated and calculated into the roof correction.
• Roof corrections are not applicable for volumes below the critical zone.
