A Trailblazing Path of Success In a span of less than four months, Yip Kah Chiew advanced from Executive Director to his current Executive Director 4 status. Clearly, he’s doing something right. That kind of phenomenal growth doesn’t come by happenstance, but to think it all began with a meeting of chance. Kah Chiew, more fondly known as KC, met his enroller Executive Director 8 Christina Thian when she was his passenger during his brief stint as an Uber driver. Meeting her was pure luck, but what followed since then have all been KC’s consistent hard work and effort. KC enrolled in March 2016 and within 5 months, advanced to Senior Director 4. “Being coachable and consistently doing the 7 Critical Business-Building Activities are the main factors that attributed to my earlier achievements. I teamed up with Christina and my support team, Executive Directors 9 Eric Toh and Stephanie Thian, and this was instrumental to my head- start in building the Melaleuca business,” KC explains. KC’s trailblazing pace and consistency in his Melaleuca journey continued to yield significant results as he advanced to Executive Director a year after enrolling. What’s the secret to his success? “There is no secret. It’s really the effort and consistency in carrying out the 7 Critical Activities,” KC says, further commenting that there is no need to re-invent the wheel of success, as it’s a proven formula. “I have never stopped adding two names to my contact list daily, making 20 calls a week and delivering 5 presentations daily,” KC explains, adding that these daily and weekly goals were crucial as it meant he never took his eyes off the ball and kept the momentum rolling. This is also good training, especially for new business builders, to get into the groove of maintaining their daily activities. “After all, practice makes perfect, and if you don’t do, you’ll never learn or improve,” KC comments, saying that this is something he instills in his own team of builders. “These activities are duplicable and it’s easy for any builder to pick up. As long as they consistently

of attending weekly meetings and product trainings conducted by the support team, he stressed on the importance of attending events organized by the company. “Not only does this help to increase your product knowledge and sharpen your business-building skills, but there are so many things you’ll be able to pick up from the various successful leaders you’ll meet at these events. Be inspired and learn from those who have built a successful Melaleuca business,” KC advises. Besides consistency in carrying out daily activities and continuous learning, KC says accountability is a strong factor in ensuring he and his team move forward. Following Convention 2017, he set up an accountability reporting system with his team, and since then, he has seen an increase in the monthly average number of customers enrolled by his team of builders. “Being accountable means you will say what you do, and do what you say–it really is as simple as it sounds. This keeps everyone on track,” KC says, adding that the accountability system also functions as a support system for one another. “When the going gets tough, we motivate one another,” he continues. With his continued success, KC is an inspiration to look up to. “Never would I have thought that meeting Christina would lead me to where I am today, and for that, I am really thankful. Not too long ago, I was running a food & beverage business, while driving for Uber on the side. My life has completely changed, and I get to enjoy time freedom while my increasing monthly residual income gives me a huge sense of comfort,” KC comments. This is also what spurs KC to help others achieve their goals and change their lives, saying that the journey to personal, time and financial wellness is always well within one’s grasp. “Don’t get me wrong–it’s not as simple as just wishing for it or setting goals. It’s definitely easier to map the road to success when you have a specific, measurable and meaningful ‘WHY’. But you’d need to remember that commitment, hard work and consistency all work hand-in-hand in ensuring you get where you want to be,” KC says, adding that he wouldn’t have it any other way. KC has no desire to take it slow. Continuing on his trailblazing path, he sets his sights on advancing to Executive Director 6 by end of this year!
