EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR 2 ADVANCEMENTS NEW

Melaleuca as Her Biggest Turning Point It was the awareness of mortality and that health is one’s true wealth, which initially led Executive Director 2 Kellie Tan to discover Melaleuca. Witnessing a number of friends and relatives easily succumbing to health problems, Kellie knew she did not want to end up in the same predicament. “I wanted to live a healthier life. With age catching on, my energy level was not what it used to be and I started seeking quality supplements that would help with my physical wellness,” Kellie explains. With that, so began Kellie’s start with Melaleuca. “I’ve been consuming Vitality 6™ and NutraGene, and there is a marked improvement with my health and energy level. Quality supplements at reasonable prices? It’s incomparable,” Kellie says.

good results after a while, so make sure you keep up with your daily activities,” Kellie says. Kellie also strongly believes that learning is lifelong, and as such, encourages business builders to never stop learning, be it about product knowledge, presentation and business-building skills, or even about the basics of building a Melaleuca business such as the enrollment process, preferred customer benefits and more. “Immerse yourself in continuous learning, because that is the only way one gets better. After all, practice makes perfect!” she stresses. Kellie recalled her resolve last year to advance to Executive Director, saying, “I was not contented to remain as a Senior Director 9, so I made up my mind to fight for it. I had to find ways to make my organization grow.” Change is always necessary for any breakthroughs to happen, and so, Kellie decided to hold weekly meetings with her business partners. The weekly meet-up served as a platform for her builders to talk about their challenges, as well as training sessions on product knowledge and business-building skills. “In the beginning, there were less than 10 participants each weekly meeting, but now, I see an average of 30 builders every week,” Kellie proudly says, noting that her organization also grew 500. Kellie advanced to Executive Director status in April this year, and further advanced to her current Executive Director 2 status in August. She knows that with her current momentum, her Melaleuca business will grow leaps and bounds, and resolves to advance to Executive Director 3 by end of 2017!

Kellie says the potential of earning residual income through building a Melaleuca business also intrigued her. “Before I enrolled, my enroller posed this question, “Do you want to build a business that can provide an additional income of RM5,000 to 10,000 per month?” That piqued my interest, and I started researching about Melaleuca,” explains Kellie, who then made up her mind to build the business as she has had good product experience and through her research, found that Melaleuca’s reputation and sales record are impeccable. In the beginning, she only set her sights on earning RM5,000 per month, enough for a comfortable retirement. Little did she know, 7 years after she began building the business, her average income would amount to RM25,000 a month! “Building Melaleuca as a business is the biggest turning point in my life. Never would I have imagined that I would be earning that staggering amount month after month. To say that Melaleuca is providing me with a very stable retirement income is really an understatement. Now I can proudly say that I’ve achieved both physical and financial wellness,” Kellie exclaims. Consistency, effort and a never-give-up attitude all played a big role in getting Kellie to where she is today. Sharing some tips on her journey to building a successful Melaleuca business, Kellie advises new business builders, first and foremost, to utilize the Delivering Wellness™ Presentation. Not only is it an effective tool, but with information on both product and business approaches, the presentation is very well-balanced too. Kellie also says that it is important to dictate your own pace. “Be comfortable with how fast you’d be able to build your business and advance your status. Each business builder is different from the other, and the speed of you building your business is in direct proportion to your advancement progress,” explains Kellie, who says that knowing your ‘WHY’ will help in setting a pace. For Kellie, whose ‘WHY’ is to earn a comfortable retirement fund, her slow and steady pace of reaching Executive Director 2 in 7 years was a comfortable momentum for her. However, she also cautioned new business builders to not take that as a reason to get stuck in a comfort zone. “Be mindful of your pace, don’t slide into the comfort zone. Always keep your progress in check,” Kellie advises. The key, she says, is to employ the 4+1+1 strategy, which is making four calls and adding one new contact into your list daily, and developing one personal Director 3 every three months. This strategy ensures business builders carry out the right activities, and ingrains it as part of their daily lives. “Your performance will gradually increase, and you will see
