For many years I was a man of reckless abandon or should I say a boy of reckless abandon. I had deceived myself to believe that I was a man because I could do what I wanted. Not just do what I wanted but when , how and for what- - was living life alone void of accountability. My solo life had led me through many troubles including drug addiction, gang violence, and homelessness but the darkest of it all was the depression and despair. Ecclesiastes two verse nine through 10 tells a simple but profound principle; that living life alone has no real value. help in life. A stark reality of a man’s life is that, it is impossible to grow without anyone else’s help.
