WE WILL MISS YOU MAUREEN Our ORPS pickleball family has been saddened by the recent death of M AUREEN M ILLER -N IELSEN – advocate, coach, dear friend, and our courts’ name-sake. We welcome back her cherished husband Stan, and look forward to a courtside service to honor Mo’s memory.

Congratulations to T OM K ENDRICK on his gold medal, B ARRY H ILL and G LEN B REWER on their respective silver medals, and N ICK K INISKI on his bronze! Special recognition to K EITH B ASSHAM for his volunteer responsibilities. GREAT PICKLEBALL PARTICIPATION The first pickleball lessons of the season were offered on November 5 for those who had never played and 28 residents attended. A fantastic turnout! A further 16 attended on November 8, for a total of 44 new players in one week. We are delighted to grow our club with enthusiastic and interested participants! Another new feature this season is the “pickleball drills” opportunity at 3:00PM on Wednesdays and Fridays. Drills are considered essential to improving your skills. See you on the courts!
NEW PICKLEBALL COURTS ARE OUTSTANDING! ORPS players are delighted with their newly renovated playing courts: (beside El Saguaro Clubhouse) - a total now of 13 magnificent courts, with aesthetically appealing blue sun shades and inviting social areas! Thanks to all who contributed to the construction and completion of this amazing pickleball facility!
