BUILDERS’ MERCHANT GROUP BOLSTERS SENIOR TEAM TO DRIVE STRATEGIC GROWTH

Building services engineering practice Tate Consulting has promoted Aaron Stevenson to director of its Belfast office to supports its expansion programme and numerous high-profile contract wins. Aaron joined Tate Consulting at the end of 2021, which coincided with the Yorkshire- headquartered company’s expansion into Belfast. Since then, he has worked alongside fellow Tate Consulting Director Jim Lee to grow the office into a 10-strong team. NEW DIRECTOR JOINS TATE CONSULTING

& Building Supplies in August 2021 and has since invested heavily in facilities, IT systems and a revised senior leadership structure. The Group is now making four key internal appointments to further strengthen its management team and leverage the significant customer and trade experience within the two businesses. Martin Farrell, currently commercial director within MBM, will take the helm as its MD across Ireland. Pat Moore, who joined the Brooks senior executive team earlier this year, will now take the reins as MD of Brooks, supporting current Brooks CEO Kieran Burke for an interim period. At a Group level, Peter Kelly will take up a new role as Group finance director, tasked with driving strategic growth, while Brendan Sammon will take on a new role as Group regional director East.
