How you can help.

“I came to Dulwich in 1957 as part of the Dulwich Experiment. My father had died from his war disability when I was two and my mother struggled to make ends meet. Success was something that happened to other people, not to us. At the start of my third year, I found myself in Science 3B. To my surprise, at the end of the Michaelmas term I was top of the form. So success could happen to me. After that I worked much harder and the next year found myself in 4A, the A stream. I wanted to be top again. I never achieved that goal, but the brilliant Dulwich education helped me to excellent A Level grades and a place at Cambridge University at the age of 16. There is no doubt that Dulwich taught me self-discipline and self-confidence, for which I am eternally grateful. Over 50 years after graduating fromCambridge, I am still doing consultancy work and loving it. I know that none of this would have happened if I had not gone to Dulwich. I feel proud to be able to leave a legacy for bursaries to the College in my will and to contribute towards giving more boys access to

Dulwich College is committed to increasing our bursary provision to ensure that more talented boys have access to a Dulwich education for years to come. This can only be achieved with the generous support of our whole community, including current and former parents, Old Alleynians, pupils, staff and friends, and everyone who believes that all young people should have the opportunity to benefit from an education that will shape their future, regardless of their financial means. By making a gift to the Bursary Appeal Fund, you do something amazing. There are a number of ways in which you can support our ambition to make a change. Make a donation to the Bursary Appeal Fund, spread the word, fund a full bursary place for a pupil, host an event or leave a lasting legacy in your will.
