Cross-Functional Use Case: Post-Event Analysis / Sell Thru
Use Case Objective:
Monitor post-event performance to improve upon future performance.
Use Case Benefits: Understanding how events perform from a supply chain distribution perspective is crucial to understanding how to execute future events. Monitoring performance provides a level of accountability to Supply Chain, Category and the Vendor.
Process/Analytical Steps:
Metrics to Review:
1. Analyze sales, were they above or below expectation? 2. Measure DC Fill Rate (from PowerBi) • In areas that could be improved, was it driven by forecast, vendor on-time delivery, or late communication from ADUSA to vendor on quantities • If there was a late communication, where was the breakdown? Is this a trend? What steps can we take to improve process and address? 3. Measure In-Stock % & POG Auth % stores scanning • Should we have allocated more? What day did the in-stock rate fall if applicable? • How many stores scanned the items, where there any distribution gaps? 4. Forced Distro Sell Through • Did we send enough? Did we send too much?
• Sales • Forced Distro Sell Through • POG Auth % Stores scanning vs not scanning • In-Stock • DC Fill Rate
• DC Leftover Inventory • On time delivery • Forecast Accuracy

• Category: To bring insights to on promotional effectiveness and address any lead time concerns • In-Stock: To bring insights on execution • Forecasting: To bring insights on forecast and allocation accuracy • Vendor: To review plan and execution
