Cross-Functional Use Case: Vendor Pilot Programs

Use Case Objective:

Create a unilateral, multi-purpose merchandising vehicle that can be customized for a specific ADUSA brand in partnership with a Specified Supplier

Use Case Benefits: Merchandising vehicle that can be deployed independently (Brand graphics) at ADUSA Brands according to Brand approval and planning that would features occasion-based meal solutions, innovation, and/or seasonal selling opportunities that is supported by commercial planning. Programs can be supported by various Co-Marketing initiatives that encourage cross department purchasing and would have graphics that can be easily updated according to the featured program.

Process/Analytical Steps:

Metrics to Review:

1. Category leadership asks if they offer a meal solution/occasion merchandising display 2. Begin discussion with ADvantage vendor to understand ask and determine interest/possibilities 3. Collaborate with Category Teams on the design and creation of the fixture 4. Work with a fixture Company that can design several prototype options for ADUSA Brands to have available depending on store size, format, etc.. 5. Present prototypes to ADUSA Brand Category Leadership for review, feedback, and approval 6. If approved, each ADUSA Category Brand Leadership determines which version and how many to be produced and shipped to stores 7. Determine if ship fixtures ship directly to stores or flow in and out of Brand DC’s
