There are approximately 277,000 students currently enrolled in public and private Pre-K-12 schools throughout Greater Oklahoma City. Enrollments include approximately 271,000 public school students and an estimated 16,000 students enrolled in private education or homeschooled. More than 50 schools in the region have been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools, a program that recognizes schools with academic
