will be Cazador de Sangre, alias The Blood Hunter, a Puerto Rican wrestler who ham- mered MLW middleweight champion Teddy Hart during a recent bout. Also on the card is Davey Boy Smith Junior, son of the original Davey Boy Smith of British Bulldogs tag-team fame. Facing him is Nathan Banner, the current GNW TV heavyweight champion. “He’s very similar to his dad,” said Nichol- son, regarding Smith. “But he’s bigger than his dad, at six-five and 300 pounds, and he’s also a very technical fighter.” The GNW Canadian Heavyweight title is up for grabs in a challenge rematch between current title-holder Wes Brisco and former champion Max Testosterone, who is fresh from a tryout session with the WWE. Former GNW women’s champion Lady Yasmine lost her title to Jessica Black ear- lier this spring during a challenge bout in Hawkesbury. Come October in Rockland, the two will face each other again in another challenge title match. Other matches for Apocalypse night in Rockland include Hawkesbury’s Mathis Myre against The Bruiser from Ottawa, and a three-round exhibition kickboxing match. He joined the WWE the following year and earned himself a reputation as a hard-hitting fury. At one time he was partners with wrestling legend, André the Giant, with whom he shared the WWE tag team champion title. Since then, Haku has grappled the com- petition in the WCW, WLW and Impact Pro Wrestling. Facing him in October in Rockland
