NORMAN PUBLIC SCHOOLS Located south of Oklahoma City, Norman is the third largest city in Oklahoma and is home to the University of Oklahoma. NPS serves nearly 14,500 students, spread across 17 elementary schools, four middle schools, two high schools and one alternative school. McKinley Elementary School was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2022. PUTNAM CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS The Putnam City Public School district, the fifth largest in the state, is located in Oklahoma City. Covering 43 square miles, the district serves more than 19,000 students at 18 elementary schools, five middle schools, three high schools and an academy.
