IEC 309 HP - HIGH PERFORMANCE is a complete range of mobile plugs and mobile and flush-mounting socket-outlets for currents from 16A to 125A available in protected version (IP44/ IP54) and in watertight version (up to IP66/IP67/IP68/IP69). The product is at the top of its segment in terms of reliability, practicality, performance and technical characteristics when

it comes to industrial connections. Total protection GEWISS is the world's first manufacturer to offer “total” protection against the infiltration of solid bodies and/or liquids. Apart from the IP66/IP67 degrees of protection in fact, the IEC 309 HP straight plugs and sockets also have two extra degrees of protection - IP68 and IP69.

Safe and robust The materials and considerable thickness guarantee excellent resistance to mechanical stress (IK09), even at low temperatures (down to -25°C). The range offers performance levels that are decidedly superior to both the regulation standards and market standards.

SAFE-LOCK system

Connection speed, simplicity and safety The technical and functional aspects of the fast-wiring versions reduce the connection times (compared with traditional versions) by half. This solution uses levers that are easy to open and close, and they're coloured to ensure the polarities can be immediately identified. In the screw wiring versions, all the screws face in the same direction and are completely loosened.

Fast, safe closure in every situation SAFE-LOCK is the new body-grip closure system based on ¼ turn coupling and anti-slackening friction. The ¼ turn safety screw shows clearly whether the system is open or closed, and it can be used time and time again.

Maximum impact resistance The structural design uses inserts in overprinted rubber to protect the parts particularly subject to impact, and employs top quality technopolymers. The body-grip closure system has stainless steel screws and brass inserts embedded in the body. This guarantees greater impact resistance, even when the product is used in heavy-duty conditions.

Easy, accurate wire tightening The cable fastener gland, with radial precision tightening, offers the widest selection of diameters available on the market. Thanks to the sizing of the cable relief, the shape, and the overprinted rubber parts of the ring nut, it's extremely easy to tighten the wire, even by hand. The back part of the ring nut also has a large, firm area for carrying out opening and closing operations with tools.

Safe connection The connection of the wire using screw terminals with indirect tightening ensures the highest possible level of safety, guaranteeing the best contact surface and pressure even with non- terminated wires. The nickel-coating on the plug pins and sleeves, and the "HIGH QUALITY CONTACT" offer the maximum reliability of the electrical connection.

The interlocked switched socket-outlet system, which complies with standard IEC 309, is composed of the 67 IB range (vertical interlocked switched socket-outlets), the 66 IB range (vertical interlocked switched socket-outlets for heavy-duty applications), the 44 IB range (horizontal protected interlocked switched socket-outlets) and the COMBIBLOC range (compact interlocked switched socket-outlets). 67 IB – vertical sockets Watertight vertical socket-outlets IP67 with current from 16A to 63A, available in versions: with rotary switch (SBF), with rotary switch and fuse holder base (CBF), and with MCB integrated (AUTOMATIKA). The codes with the suffix “N” refer to the products of the new range of IP67 vertical interlocked switched socket-outlets, and correspond to the product codes of the previous range without the letter “N” (apart from the Automatika version); they can therefore be installed on the Q-DIN boards of the old SBF versions, allowing any replacement or modification even on boards already installed. Using the GW 66 715 N adapters for 16-32A versions, and GW 66 716 N for 63A versions, they can also be installed on the Q-DIN boards or modular bases of the old CBF IP55 versions.
