I understand that all garbage and recycling must be placed outside before 7 a.m., but due to raccoon activity, many residents, including myself, put out their bins in the morning and don’t always manage to do so before 7 a.m. Regardless, I truly appreciate that your crew came back for a second round, despite their busy schedule. It was a great help to the neighborhood! Thank you again!
From: Jonathan To: Water Services I am writing to you to compliment Earl from water services. I am waterproofing my home, and a pipe burst due to an accident. Earl came onto the scene and spent time to look for my buried water shutoff valve to close the water. All in all, pretty normal stuff. The compliment is afterwards. Earl came at 8 p.m. to turn my water back on for my wife and two young boys. He came into my home to check that the water pipe was repaired well. When the water was turned back on, the water pipe to the municipal water meter leaked. He took it upon himself to fix it. He then taught me how to air out the pipes in the home, something that I could have done wrong. He stayed until I had water that was running well for me and my family. It is a testament to his character, and due care to his community. His creed of “I treat this as if it were my own home” is a motto that many of us should adopt. And for that - I commend Earl.

I wanted to thank the City for the support to get a City tree pruned near my property. The request was logged and clear communication was given about the response and timing. Staff from the City completed the request today and did a great job waiting for the right time of day to start noisy equipment, completed the trimming work with skilled hands to keep the tree healthy and looking great and left the work-site clean and clear after work was completed. Thank you for giving clear feedback on what to expect, for following through with a well completed job in the committed timeline and leaving things clean and clear.
