Golden Pylon Awards The Golden Pylon Awards is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the exceptional contributions of our colleagues, whether as individuals or in teams. It encourages us to appreciate the remarkable efforts and achievements of our Public Works staff who consistently go above and beyond in their vital roles. This is an important moment to express gratitude for those whose work significantly impacts our community’s success. This year, we had a record-breaking number of nominations, more than the awards have seen in five years. We had 180 digital nominations and 21 paper nominations totaling 201 nominations. Deputy City Manager’s Office Leadership Award Matt Stachowiak can adapt, inspire, and drive progress has made a significant impact, and his leadership continues to strengthen the entire organization. It is with great respect and admiration that we presented the Leadership Award to someone who has truly made a difference. Leannovation Award Putera Camaro has fostered an engaging environment that encourages staff at all levels to discover better and more efficient ways to deliver services through proactive promotion of lean initiatives. One of his standout contributions has been the development of the HOW-TO Gembadoc videos, which provides a clear, visual standard of instructions for processes within each department. He also launched the Leannovation program, which saw our year-to-date improvements rise to 134, compared to 18 this time last year.
