Recognition of research excellence at the local or regional level Grant support at the local, regional or national level Participation in collaborative research/team science Participation in clinical trials or investigations that may lead to the translation of intellectual property into potentially commercially viable products
CLINICAL SERVICE Required Criterion
Expertise in clinical care which leads to excellent patient outcomes
TEACHING AND MENTORING Required Criteria
Recognition as an excellent teacher of students, residents, fellows or faculty Mentoring of students, residents, clinical or post-doctoral fellows, and/or junior faculty
SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP Required Criterion Service to the academic health center or university, to professional organizations, and/or to the community PROFESSIONALISM Required Criteria Acts in a professional manner in interactions with students, trainees, patients, families and colleagues Maintains a high standard of ethics in research
