Project leader of a focused, independent research program Sustained record of high-quality, high-impact publications in peer-reviewed journals Substantial grant support at the national level Recognition of research excellence at the national level Supporting Criteria Participation in collaborative research/team science Participation in clinical trials or investigations that may lead to the translation of intellectual property into potentially commercially viable products Recognition as an excellent teacher of students, residents, fellows or faculty High-quality mentoring of students, residents, clinical or post-doctoral fellows, and/or junior faculty SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP Required Criterion Service to the academic health center or university, to professional organizations, and/or to the community TEACHING AND MENTORING Required Criteria
