reviewed at regular intervals, enabling timely identification of best practices and areas for improvement. Our Commitment to Care
At Norfolk Primary Care, we are deeply committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care that places people at the heart of everything we do. Our approach goes beyond treating illness - we strive to understand and support the whole person, recognising the unique needs of every individual and family we serve.
We believe that strong, healthy communities are built on trust, collaboration, and access to excellent healthcare. That’s why we work closely with our local partners, clinicians, and support teams to ensure our services are inclusive, responsive, and continuously improving. By fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and innovation, we aim to empower individuals to live healthier lives and to strengthen the wellbeing of the communities across Norfolk that we are proud to serve.
3.4 Safeguarding
At NPC, safeguarding is a core component of our commitment to high-quality, safe, and compassionate care. We are dedicated to creating an environment where the emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing of patients, service users, and staff is protected and promoted. Safeguarding leadership is clearly defined within our governance structure. A named Safeguarding Lead and Deputy operate at the organisational level, while each clinical service has designated safeguarding representatives to ensure local oversight and accountability. In late 2024, the Norfolk & Waveney ICB, Norfolk Children Services, and the Quality Care Commission (CQC) conducted a Joint Targeted Inspection (JTAI) that included our Norwich Health Centre. The inspection resulted in highly positive verbal feedback, recognising the exceptional standards of our safeguarding procedures and processes. All services maintain up-to-date, accessible safeguarding protocols for both clinical and non- clinical staff. These include step-by-step guidance on responding to concerns and clear escalation
