NPC Annual Quality Account 2024-2025 FINAL DRAFT for BOARD

3.9 Staff Experience Surveys – Clinical & Non-Clinical Staff To enable an understanding of our staff experiences of working in our organisation and the services which we deliver, we invited 264 individuals of our substantively and bank employed workforce to take part in our annual staff survey. The staff who were invited to give us feedback work in a combination of our head office and clinical services. They were sent a QR code containing a link to the survey and responded to a series of statements using a standard five-point Likert scale. The questions have been aligned with the NHS Staff survey, with sections covering all aspects of work life. We received a total of 70 responses, which equates to an 26.5% response rate. Whilst we recognise that the results do not represent everyone’s views, we valued the responses we did receive. They form the way in which we as an organisation can be responsive to our staff’s opinions to improve and develop new and existing services. Responses were gathered anonymously, covering roles including administrative support staff, doctors, ARRS clinicians, and other allied health professionals across PCNs and clinical services. Of those 264 individuals who received the invitation to partake in our annual staff survey, 42 (44 responses in 2023/24) opted to complete the non-clinical role survey, with 28 (48 in 2023/24) individuals opted to complete the clinical role survey. Both surveys had mostly the same questions, with some additional clinical care focussed questions on the clinical staff survey. We asked for responses in 8 main sections, which were:

Section 1 - About You Section 2 - Your Role and Job Satisfaction

Section 3 - Your Team, The People, and The Culture Section 4 - Your Health, Well-Being, and Safety at Work Section 5 - Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Section 6 - Your Personal Development Section 7 - Quality, Patient Safety, and Improvement Section 8 - The Organisation – NPC
