4.1 Review of Key Priorities for Quality Improvements for 2024/25 – “We Did” Over the past year, Norfolk Primary Care (NPC) has made meaningful progress in delivering on our quality improvement priorities. Below is a summary of the actions we have taken in response to our commitments:
Quality Statements
We Did:
• Reviewed and refreshed our organisational quality statements to ensure they reflect our evolving values and commitment to person-centred care. • Embedded these statements into internal communications and governance documentation to reinforce a culture of accountability and high standards across all services.
Learning, Education, and Research We Did:
• Initiated steps toward and successfully become a recognised ‘learning organisation’ through identifying clinical services suitable for formal training and education partnerships. • Supported staff participation in external training and CPD opportunities, and began scoping partnerships with academic institutions to explore future research and educational collaborations. • Promoted a culture of continuous learning through internal knowledge-sharing sessions and clinical supervision.
Development of Organisational, Quality & Performance Structures We Did:
• Began restructuring our governance framework in preparation for our transition to a Community Interest Company (C.I.C), ensuring quality, safety, and performance remain central to our operations. • Established clearer reporting lines and committee structures to enhance oversight of clinical governance, patient safety, and service performance.
