by another, wider perspective of life; a view of the entirety around us, the universe. Through science, we learn how the fundamental forces of the universe are the building-blocks of our lives. Modelling the universe here on earth, including at sites such as CERN, enables us to discover more about the early universe – and about how we got here. We have so much more to learn. As William Harvey said: ‘All that we know is still infinitely less than all that remains unknown.’ There is no knowing how far science will take us in our quest for knowledge.
