FREE LEARNING

THE

BIGGER PICTURE The aim of the day was to encourage the boys to consider the concept of what the Bigger Picture can mean to an individual artist and to a wider audience. Working with artists Al Scarfe OA and Twinkle Troughton, the Mystartproject team and teachers from the College, the boys rose to the challenge. The afternoon saw a screening in the Auditorium of The Good Lie , a film focusing on the true story of the lost children of South Sudan.

The Bigger Picture free learning day offered Year 8 boys a day of thought-provoking creative workshops. The boys learned that art is a powerful tool for getting your voice heard, that it is strong enough to have political sway, and that, in transcending language barriers, it can cross geographical and cultural divides.
