"Will 'you please tell me," said a Christian woman to a servant of the Lord, "what is 'your idea of consecra­ tion?” Holding out a blank sheet of paper, the man of God replied, “ It is to sign your name at the bottom of this blank sheet of paper, and let God fill it in as He will.” A consecrated life is one that is ■filled with God. I empty my- hand at His feet of all I am and possess, but He fills, the empty hand with Him­ self. What a wonderful compensa­ tion!—Evangelical Christian. What a cdmfort to have this assurance from His own lips that all the prophecies of His Com-, ing glory must.be fulfilled! What a stimulus to holy living to know on the authority of His personal word that He will come again and reign, even as the prophets have said! —Frank E.
