Vinfen's Clubhouses empower people with mental health conditions by providing them with a community that is focused on respect and encourages individual choice and contribution. Clubs offer dynamic supports 5-6 days a week combining employment, housing and education services with social activities, life skills, wellness initiatives, arts-based rehab, and advocacy. Description: Interning at one of our Clubhouses means interning on a diverse team of support professionals, nurses and clinicians to ensure each person involved at the Club participates in a meaningful and significant way. As an intern, you will learn hands-on about the daily activities and operations of a Club. You will have the opportunity to co-facilitate group activities, participate in team meetings, and advocate on behalf of the individuals you help support. Candidate Requirements: Candidates should have a strong interest in working with adults with psychiatric challenges. Undergraduate-level candidates in a related field such as human services, psychology, social work, or public health are preferred. Supervision: This intern will report to the Clubhouse program director or assistant program director, and will work with various members of the support team.

Schedule: Schedule, days and hours are flexible based on the needs of the student. Interns must work at least 8 hours per week.
