Family Art Night
The 2nd Annual Family Art Night at BEN was a vibrant celebration of creativity. The community enjoyed a stunning Gallery Walk of student artwork, hands-on fun at various Art Creation Stations, and a special presentation of original poetry by our Poetree Program winners. The event was made even more meaningful through a partnership with EHS students and former BEN student Samyuktha Nair, who helped guide and support our young poets. Another highlight was the first-ever performance by the BOLT Dance Team, whose energy and talent brought the crowd to their feet. It was truly an evening to remember!
Our Fourth Grade BOLTs had an exciting opportunity to learn from real-world engineers during a special visit from LyondellBasell! Through a series of engaging, hands-on STEM activities, students explored scientific concepts in action—asking questions, testing ideas, and having a blast along the way. This interactive experience brought classroom learning to life and sparked even more curiosity about the world of science and engineering. A big thank you to LyondellBasell for inspiring our future innovators!
BEN Summer Challenge & Reading Event!
To keep the love of reading going all summer long, every student in Grades K–5 will be receiving a special summer reading book to take home! We can’t wait to hear what they think at our upcoming Summer Reading Event, DIP into Reading, where students will have the chance to discuss their book, connect with friends, and participate in fun, literacy-filled activities. The event will also include special community visitors. It’s the perfect way to celebrate stories, spark imagination, and build excitement for reading all summer long!
