You feel good about yourself when you do positive actions and there is a positive way to do everything
John Marshall implemented the Positive Action Program school-wide this year. Positive Action topics encompass a wide range of subjects focusing on promoting positive change and development in various areas of life. Our students learned about Self - Concept, Positive actions for your body and mind, Managing yourself responsibly, Treating others the way you like to be treated, Telling yourself the truth, and Improving Yourself Continually. John Marshall students developed a common vocabulary for positive actions with weekly vocabulary words/phrases and were reminded of the program’s philosophy as they listened to the Positive Action jingle created by our own music teacher, Mr. LaRocca. Students were acknowledged and celebrated for their positive actions throughout the day.
Unit 2: Physical and Intellectual Positive Actions for a Healthy Self-Concept. Students use Positive Actions to take care of their bodies.
Unit 4: Getting Along With Others Using Social/Emotional Positive Actions
