Regarding link below: Even though PCR tests are inaccurate, the Covid death rates by race/ethnicity are similar to each group’s population percentage in the US, indicating no major disparities by race. Using CDC’s initial disparity standard (which is now strangely removed from their site) and as of July 2022, the Covid death rate for whites was 2.5% higher than their population percentage compared to just 1% higher for Blacks. (whites: 62.6% and 60.1%) (Blacks:13.5% and 12.5%) These findings contradict with earlier reports stating that Blacks had massive disparities regarding Covid cases and deaths. Also, know that these Covid databases lack sufficient amounts of racial data, and that there may be bias in how health care professionals collect and report Covid data by race/ethnicity. https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#demographics Early in the pandemic, articles like this one were published everywhere, saying that Blacks were enormously more likely to get and die from Covid. This fear tactic was probably used to summon Black cooperation, since Blacks mistrust the US system the most. If you check these cities now and their Covid disparities, they look nothing like these initial reports.
