LEADERSHIP MATTERS A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Valued Chamber Members, As we celebrate National Chamber of Commerce Week, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your continued support and dedication to our chamber. While this letter touches on some of our recent events and accomplishments, the rest of this magazine goes into greater detail about the tremendous impact your membership has made over this past year. We kicked off the fall season with an incredibly successful Heart of the Rogue Festival, featuring over 100 local vendors and businesses. Our Young Professionals Network (YPN) group hosted a lively networking event during the festival, bringing together dynamic young leaders over great wine and conversation. The lively atmosphere and sense of fellowship were evident throughout the event. Our Forum Luncheon also relaunched in spectacular fashion, thanks to the fresh perspective brought by our speaker, Mary Hambleton, who inspired us to forge new connections within the innovative new take on a cherished 100-year tradition. Coming up this November 9, YPN will host an event at Lithia Motors Headquarters, with breakout speakers providing valuable insights and takeaways for young professionals. We strive to make each YPN gathering an unforgettable experience that propels our emerging leaders forward. On behalf of our board and staff, thank you again for your membership and involvement. Together, we will continue working to refresh, revitalize and grow our chamber community. Wishing you a wonderful National Chamber of Commerce Week!

Sincerely,

Eli Matthews, IOM President & CEO Chamber of Medford and Jackson County
