Can you tell us more about the Lumiere team? How have roles evolved since the launch, and how is everyone settling into their rhythm? Our team and board of trustees are comprised of strong, passionate women (although we would welcome men as well). Most of us have personal connections to disability, whether through our children, family, or professional experiences. We started wearing every hat: cleaner, receptionist, fundraiser, play buddy and still do; however, over time, we've each found our rhythm. We don't do titles; we do everything with heart. Everyone brings their whole selves to the table, and what's so special is how we step in for each other without needing to be asked.

That's what the Lumiere community looks like; all the passion we bring makes us special. We recently attended the local send-off event at St. George's Hall, and wow, we were in awe of the feedback from professionals who already knew and shared with us that everyone had been singing our praises. We couldn't have imagined it would take just 8 weeks, and we're sharing it daily. We are forever grateful that our parents and children are our family; our socials and comments speak volumes. We have welcomed our new starter, Lilly, from Swarac College. What a fabulous young girl wanting to make an impact.
