ONE CAN NEVER BE TOO PREPARED

We shared a short huddle and we sway, glaring without mal- ice to the front of the cabin. Nothing about the current setting could make you angry. I guess older people—and fathers—had more to lose soon, but already, they had some bitterness usually, so discontent whenever we switched transport wasn’t that an- noying.

It is said that you can never be too prepared.You can read your books, develop your theories, herd your sheep, but nothing can truly prepare you for what can unravel in the next second. In life, only time holds the truth, and we are simply creating arks.
