Atys , classique de l’Opéra Grand Siècle, est un ouvrage que le Grand Louis appréciait beaucoup, en particulier la célèbre scène du sommeil du héros à l’acte III. Cela lui vaudra d’être surnommé « l’opéra du roi ». Pour ho- norer ce chef-d’œuvre, le chef Alexis Kossenko a réu- ni une équipe rompue à ce répertoire et menée par le couple Véronique Gens – Mathias Vidal. Atys, an iconic opera from the period known as the “Grand Siècle”, was particularly appreciated by Louis XIV, the Roi Soleil, and notably the sleeping scene in Act III, earning it the nickname “the King’s opera”. To honor this chef-d’oeuvre, conductor Alexis Kossenko has brought together a hand-picked team led by Véro- nique Gens & Mathias Vidal.
