Step 5 - Create Your Baseline Measurement IMPORTANT: All of the filters in the booth need to be installed and new in order to get an accurate baseline. If the filters have already been used , you will need to remove them and install new , clean filters. With the new clean filters installed, turn on your exhaust fan. If your exhaust fan is connected to a VFD to control the speed of the fan, make sure it is set to run at full speed. You will notice the red fluid should move up the scale and then settle at a number.
