Accelerating vital capital works We worked in partnership with the organisation as their committed capital investment increased sharply. Across a £6bn plus portfolio of more than 3,000 projects, we helped establish stronger operational grip through clearer metrics, defined roles and real-time performance visibility. Within five months, £1.2bn of potential capital efficiency savings were identified to meet the required cost envelope of £6bn, maintaining full scope and outcomes across the portfolio. Creating lasting capability Beyond individual initiatives, our partnership has facilitated a broader shift in how our client approaches improvement. By centralising insight and reducing siloed working, together we unlocked new data and insights, that hadn’t been surfaced before. Decision-making became faster and more confident, with clearer accountability across teams. Crucially, we equipped the team with the tools, systems and digital and capabilities they needed to sustain progress independently, applying the same structured, evidence- based approach to new challenges.
