• JCT Standard Forms of Building Contract • Procurement and Handover procedures • Previous experience of budget planning and financial control. • An understanding of current technical developments and advancements in structure & construction techniques. • Experience of using CAD (C omputer Aided Design ) • Previous experience of surveying and estimating. COMMUNICATION • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to convey complex information in the most appropriate format
• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject • Demonstrable experience of Contract Administration & Construction Project Management Desirable: • Membership of relevant professional body e.g. RICS, MBIAT, CIOB or similarly recognised organisation. • Experience in using project programming using Microsoft Project. • Knowledge of the following areas: • CDM Regulations • Town and Country Planning Act 1990 • Building Act 1984 • Health and Safety Legislation • NBS specification • British and European Standard s/ codes of practice
