Multiply blending for reference
Overlay A combination of Multiply and Screen blending.
Uses Screen mode for lighter colors from underlying layer and Multiply for darker ones, leaving midtones more or less intact. As the calculation uses only half of the strength of Multiply and Screen, the underlying layer is always clearly visible.
