The following graphs are a comparison (January - December 2020) of Fort Worth (909,585) to benchmark cities with either a similar population or proximity. Comparable cities with their population noted in parentheses include: Dallas, TX (1,343,573), Austin, TX (978,908), El Paso, TX (681,728), Charlotte - Mecklenburg, NC (885,708), Columbus, OH (898,553), Jacksonville, FL (911,507), and San Francisco, CA (881,549). The City of Austin, TX did not report annual offense data for 2020. The population data source is the U.S. Census Bureau. Crime offense comparable data source is the Major Cities Chiefs Association.
