COUNTED BREATH Close eyes - breathe in & out through the nose. INHALE for a count of four EXHALE for a count of four Slowly increase to a 6 count and then an 8 count as comfortable.
FOCUSED ATTENTION Pick a focal point about 4-6 ft away - breathe in and out through the nose and for the next 1-3 minutes simply notice all the details about the object you are looking at. *great for computer screen breaks BODY SCAN Close eyes - breathe in and out through the nose. Start at the top of the head and work your way down to your toes. Scan the body and notice how you feel, no judgment, just noticing. Imagine with every inhale you feel exapansion and length and every exhale feel release and relaxation.
