Communication • Lead the development of an engagement and training programme to ensure students, staff and other stakeholders have a good understanding of sustainability issues, LSE’s progress in addressing these, and how they can contribute to supporting LSE’s sustainability goals. • To independently plan, conduct and report orally and in writing on research and surveys relating to the School and external bodies in relation to the environment and sustainability for the purpose of strategic decision making.

• Ability to undertake a varied workload, including servicing of meetings and financial and personnel procedures. • Able to prioritising tasks and develop or improve systems to ensure the effective delivery of a substantial sustainability agenda. • Take forward in conjunction with Carbon Reduction Manager the draft Carbon Management Strategy and Implementation Plan, obtain institutional approval and support for implementation phases.

• Communicate key information clearly to staff within the service and the School, ensuring that information and developments are conveyed and received effectively. • Provide advice, information and assistance, in person, via email and phone to a wide range of stakeholders with the ability to deal with colleagues at senior levels. • Communicate regularly with a variety of key employees and stakeholders on behalf of the School. • Encourage through dialogue and correspondence better communication throughout the Estates Division.
