PREPARED FOR THE FUTURE

Rise In E-Commerce Makes Final Mile Services An Important Solution A key part of our culture is securing a brighter future, and one way we’re doing that is by offering Final Mile services to meet the ever- increasing demand of e-commerce. Through our Final Mile services, we use strategic partners to maneuver residential areas for customer deliveries. We currently offer this service in 45 markets, and it’s helping us open the door for more opportunities with customers who may not have otherwise partnered with Averitt, as well as strengthening our relationship with current customers who need this service. HELPING OUR DRIVERS DO WHAT THEY DO BEST In addition to helping us increase bill count throughout our network, another reason we offer Final Mile services is to allow our drivers to focus on what they do best, saving time and resources for our team. “We want the most driver-friendly freight as possible for our driving force,” says Director of Final Mile Services PETE ZIEGLER. “That’s why we have strategic partners who do this. They specialize in these types of deliveries, and they have the equipment necessary for the job.”
