The Projects Group acted as Development and Project Managers on this new, very high quality speculative mixed-use development in Mayfair.

1-8 CAPITOL WAY, LONDON RLAM 43,600 sq. ft. Redevelopment of an existing warehouse site on the corner of Capitol Way and Stag Lane. The planning application proposes the demolition of the existing buildings on site to deliver 414 residential units across the market and affordable tenures, alongside 4,051 m2 of new, high-quality, flexible employment space.

CASTLEWOOD HOUSE, LONDON RLAM 228,000 sq. ft.

A mixed use development on a complex site which includes a number of existing buildings, some of which sit within a conservation area. Proposals look to retain and extend those buildings within the conservation area, and convert them to much needed affordable housing. The other half of the site looks to replace a 1950s office at the end of its life with a new Grade A office offer, with retail wrapping around at ground floor animating street level.

CBRE’s Building Consultancy team has recently implemented a restructure to align with a core strategy to deliver revenue and margin growth over the next 7 years. The strategy focusses on core Sector specialisms of Commercial Offices, Industrial & Logistics, Retail & Leisure, Hotels and Residential. To align with this, the Project & Cost Management team has refined its structure with the creation of a Core project management team, comprising three workstreams: • Occupier fit out and relocation • Investor Refurbishment & repositioning • New Build Development The first two workstreams are currently solidly resourced to take the teams to their next level of evolution. The New Build team including a Construction Delivery team has a solid delivery resource available. However, to realise the potential revenue and margin growth and drive a specialist new build focus, leading to a robust stream of new business, it has been identified that a key hire is required to lead the team at Senior Director level. The new position will provide the team with overarching leadership and management, internal and external market facing focus for the development

• Provide interface point with internal transactional/ development teams to identify and deliver project opportunities. • Provide efficient and timely support to other CBRE service lines where required to assist in securing instruction, regardless of direct/ immediate benefit to Project & Cost Management team. • Identify and deliver opportunities to cross-sell other CBRE service lines. • Identify fee earning opportunity within both internal CBRE marketplace and external marketplace. • Routinely update knowledge in the immediate business sphere of project delivery and continually build knowledge of the general CBRE business to identify new business or improve service. • Directly contribute to the overall annual fee target of Projects & Cost Management team and specifically, the New Build Offices team. • Review and understand the current New Build Project Management team business plan and input into and contribute to the development of the business and team. • Lead, contribute to and assist in the management of the new business pipeline. • Lead the management of resource within the New Build Project Management team. • Manage direct P&L for the team including upkeep of render and forecast, work in progress, invoicing, debt management and disbursements. • Provide leadership, management direction, appraisal process, motivation, guidance and mentoring of more junior members of the New Build Project Management team.

• Work closely with other Project & Cost Management team leaders to identify new business opportunities and manage resource efficiently and effectively within the teams. Person Profile Experience • 15 years + demonstrable post qualification track record in project managing major capital projects, new build developments and refurbishment schemes. • Experience of operating within a multi-disciplined Real Estate business. • A recognised specialist amongst the Developer community in Central London. • Demonstrable experience of leading and managing a team of 10. • Able to form strong and productive relationships at all levels with the internal business units and with external clients. • Strong motivation skills – experienced in negotiating and influencing at all levels with internal and external stakeholders and external vendors. • A strong mix of technical, strategic, people and business skills that should include project management and delivery. • Experience of leading internal and external delivery teams and managing multiple third-party service providers. • Demonstrable track record of developing business opportunities both within a Real Estate Consultancy environment and with direct external client targeting.
